Halfway Reflection
To keep up with this course I have definitely developed a consistent schedule. As a student, I never liked keeping a consistent schedule because I easily bore. For this class that is mostly about reflection and research though, I had to make sure to get the work done in a timely manner. Understanding how to view the same idea from multiple perspectives is extremely advantageous when discussing our findings and ideas with our classmates. I have a creative mind that captures the whole world in it, due to the fact that I have been traveling for years and exposed to different cultures all over the world.
With online courses it is extremely important to understand what is expected of you and when you need to submit assignments. Since this class is a point-based class, it is very easy to think that missing one assignment isn’t a big deal. Instead of thinking that way It is a lot healthier to think that its pointless to miss an easy assignment because it is only worth one point. That point could be an easy point earned towards your grade instead of a point taken from your final grade. Because the material isn’t taught through lecture and mostly about reflection it is easy to not watch the lectures and fall behind on cupcakes that should also be easily earned points.
The three tips I would pass along to future students:

The three tips I would pass along to future students:
- Read the syllabus thoroughly and understand exactly what it expected from you in this class. The professor can be very particular.
- Make sure to read the assignments ahead of time to understand how much time is needed to complete them and work ahead if able since he releases all the assignments at once.
- Truly reflect on what needs are missing from your life and how they could become real in terms of entrepreneurial ideas. It is important to understand how to think outside of the box whether you want to be in business or not.
I’m interested in where that picture was taken. I can’t really tell by the flags hanging, the style of the buildings look a lot like Madrid, but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think your tips are very useful, detailed, and simple. Aside from the three tips, it would have been cool to see something regarding tenacity or just times where you faced challenges; however, you ultimately overcame them.
