Idea Napkin No. 1
1. My name is Monica Fernandez. I am a student at the University of Florida who believes in sustainability and making the world more efficient in the uses of its resources. I believe this can be achieved by coming up with new and innovative ideas to connect people with resources from all over the world together to build things that give back to the environment. I have experience working with a sales company and as a project manager.
2. I’m offering a new and easy way of life to my customers. Even though not everyone thinks they need to be more sustainable, they do. They just haven’t been given an easy option that works well and can be seamlessly melded into their lives. Clean energy, biofuels, water retention and purification are all examples of needs that just haven’t been met yet.
3. Everybody in the world has a responsibility to keep it alive and well for their future generations whether they acknowledge the fact or not. The facts say that at the rate our population is growing the world won’t be able to produce enough food for the people living on it in about 50 years. So my goal projects affect everybody out there.
4. As I mentioned before, everyone wants to leave a mark or legacy behind, whether its through their kids or work accomplishments. Ensuring the continued survival and use of our planet is in everybody’s best interest.
5. My view is different because I want to bring people together to accomplish these goals. Whether its connecting investors from China to an energy company with a revolutionary idea or helping connect international powers with each other to accomplish a common goal.
6. I love my concept because more companies are needed that bring others together toward a common goal. Most people always want to be the best or the top but why not figure out what pieces work the best together to accomplish a common goal that benefits everyone. The weaker points include building the kind of a reputation where people will seek you out and once you attain that not violating that trust. Through hard work and dedication I believe this could be accomplished.

I think the idea of solving our problems with sustainability is good; however, I’m not sure on the details of your idea. Offering sustainability helps the environment; which could ultimately make customers feel better, but I think there could be something a little more specific. I think the idea can have a lot of merit, and I also think it would help to have a more concrete plan, perhaps involving the technologies, like solar power, or water control.
ReplyDeleteMonica, I'm a little confused on what your idea is. I do think you need to narrow down your business concept to something more specific and explain in details so we know what you're trying to sell to the public. What kind of product or service are you thinking about in order to connect people with resources all over the world? How will this create sustainability in the world?

Monica,
ReplyDeleteYour idea of trying to solve problems with sustainability is excellent. We as a society need to work on this more often than we currently do. My only question is what exactly is your idea or way that you plan to accomplish this? I don't see a specific idea in your post. I thought you would have expanded on one of your previous post ideas so I'm a little confused about this post.
Good Job just wish your idea was more specific.
