Idea Napkin No. 2

1. I am a 22-year-old college student trying to find her way in the world. I don’t just want a job after school I want a dream I can accomplish and work toward. I work extremely well with others. I consider myself to be an out-of-the-box thinker and very creative in my endeavors. This business of sustainable international development has so much room for growth. I want to create a new aspect of living during my lifetime.

2. I am not specifically offering my customers an item but providing a service. Due to connections and networking, I hope to one day be exposed to many financial investors looking to invest their money in ideas worth spreading. I plan to travel all over the world building my portfolio of investors that I plan to then connect with innovative environmental engineers, biologists, etc. with research and creations worth investing in.

3. I am specifically referring to business capitalists that like to make money of the stock and the market. They have to have extensive funds need to be trustworthy. Any person cannot be apart of my service program. In addition, the kinds of biologists and engineers I support also have to prove their integrity.

4. These investors will care because there is a lot of money and opportunity in the renewable energy and sustainability world. There will be so much growth in that field during my lifetime and I want to take advantage of the business side of that. The world needs it also so there is a huge need for it.

5. My core competencies will be my reach. I plant o connect so many different countries with this endeavor. A huge part of helping improves the way we live is to create awareness and include the public. I want to be a creative and well-known service provider that represents a changing world. I believe in this and have the resources to accomplish it.

I believe all my elements go together really well the only thing I can’t predict are what kinds of people I will have to be involved with. Meaning that hopefully I have people with common goals that I do. I plan on selling my customers very well though so I am not to worried. There is no way to predict anything I just have to do the best with what comes my way.

For my feedback memo, I wanted to point out that most readers were confused because I didn’t speak about a specific idea. What I tried to explain in this post is that I am not planning on being the inventor or creator. I want to be the person that helps support the inventors of the world with financial support. I am providing a service.

  1. I think it’s good that you have an idea of what you’re trying to provide and that you’ve specifically nailed it down to a service. In terms of criticism, I think that the idea napkin is relatively vague. It seems like a service that would connect people based on their professions like a networking tool. However, how does that differ from services like LinkedIn? This is something I didn’t fully understand.
